Getting oriented
Thousand Oaks is a deed-restricted subdivision of single-family homes in Trinity, an unincorporated community in southwest Pasco County that shares ZIP 34655 with part of New Port Richey. It is reached from Little Road by way of Chittamwood Boulevard and Kish Boulevard, roughly a mile and a half south of State Road 54, with the Trinity Oaks school and medical campus immediately to the northwest. Most homes date from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s, on quarter-acre-and-under lots, a number of them backing onto conservation land. The Phases 6–9 association covers 147 homes at $330 a year alongside a separate master association, and there is no community development district. The adjoining Thousand Oaks East phase is townhomes built in 2012–13.
- Little Road (CR-1) — the main north–south spine on this side of Pasco County; the neighborhood’s entrance is off it, and most of the retail, the hospital and the schools sit along it
- State Road 54 — the east–west connector about a mile and a half north; carries you east to the Suncoast Parkway or west to US-19
- Trinity Oaks Boulevard — local connector just northwest, serving the elementary school and the BayCare outpatient medical campus
- Seven Springs Boulevard — retail corridor to the north, with the nearest Publix and several restaurants
- Suncoast Parkway (SR-589, toll) — the express route to Tampa; the SR-54 interchange (Exit 19) is roughly six miles east
- US-19 — non-toll coastal north–south highway roughly four to five miles west
